With limited vision you will never see the full picture. It is not lack of education that stops people from getting ahead. It’s not lack of opportunity either that prevents growth. It’s not family influence or the lack of it that sets you on the pathway of life. It is rather lack of vision.
If I were to name the most important ingredient in achievement and success, it would have to be vision. The Bible goes even further, saying, ‘Without vision, the people perish.’ Do not allow anyone to destroy your dreams. But, remember that dreams don’t work unless you do.
The Mr and Miss Phillips’ of this world will always be wrong because the human spirit, with each heart beat, pushes against the odds. They will always be wrong psychologically, humanly and spiritually because they cannot tap into or measure your unlimited and undiscovered potential.
Some Peter J. Daniels out-takes from a chapter in his book - How to reach your LIFE Goals - Ch. 5 - Take Time To Dream:
- In dreaming YOU are creating something out of nothing.
- Do not be too busy to dream, rather be busy dreaming.
- Dreaming does not waste time, it saves time.
The distance we can travel intellectually is directly related to the size of our dreams and belief we have in them. - Peter J. Daniels
And..
- Your capacity is immeasurable.
- Do not waste time on little dreams.
- Dreaming expands capacity.
- Clarify your purpose.
- Never force a purpose into a dream.
- Make your purpose big enough for others.
Thanks Peter... a neat way to wrap up this week's DREAM theme.

Peter Daniels is the perfect example of how others can destroy your dreams, either unintentionally or intentionally!
ReplyDeleteHe is also the perfect example of how YOU can take control and soar way beyond the limitations others and YOU have imposed on yourself.
Allow youself to dream, don't limit the scope. Write them down, read them over and over again. Some will grab you and not let go ... crystalise those dreams, plan them, act on those plans ... Chances are YOU WILL amaze yourself!
Thanks for a great article about the magic in dreaming.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about achieving goals lately and I figure we're all goal-oriented, some people just don't take the time to clarify and focus this ability long enough for it to do them good.
In my family, My Dad is more a dream-er than my mum, but I figure my mum sticks with her dreams more. So she's a different (and maybe better kind of)dream-er, because she makes her dreams come true by doing what you say Ivan.
Dreaming for me, is processing and clarifying our goals and strengthening our goal-getting muscle??
