Do YOU Show Initiative?

The one attribute that most successful people show above all else is... INITIATIVE - the ability to making things happen - in their lives, in their businesses and in their communities.

initiative [ɪˈnɪʃɪətɪv -ˈnɪʃətɪv] n - is perhaps one of the most exciting action-oriented words in the dictionary and is defined as:

- the power or ability to begin or to follow through energetically with a plan or task

- enterprise and determination

- readiness to embark on bold new ventures

- the first step or action of a matter

- the ability or attitude required to begin or initiate something

Until One is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance which no one could have dreamed would have come his or her way.
